The hardy Dartmoor Pony have inhabited the moor for centuries and were used in medieval times for carrying heavy loads of tin from the mines across the moor.
A long exposure at Meldon Reservoir. I call this serenity as I had the place to myself and had a rare relaxing and calm evening.

I travelled up to Haytor to photograph the sunset but instead caught sight of this flock of Golden Plovers circling around the area and managed to capture them with the tor in the background as the low sun illuminated their wing tips.
